Iron Sight Classic

1. Eligibility: The competition is open to all persons who are legally qualified to own a handgun in the United States.

2. Qualification Course: Modified military pistol qualification course consisting of three stages:

• Slow Fire: 10 rounds in 3 minutes at 20 yards.
• Timed Fire: 10 rounds in 30 seconds at 15 yards.
• Rapid Fire: 10 rounds in 15 seconds at 10 yards.

3. Equipment Guidelines:

• Contestants provide their own firearm and ammunition (center fire or rim fire; revolver or semi-automatic).
• Contestants must use the same firearm for all three stages.
• NO OPTICS PERMITTED: All optics (red dots, scopes) must be removed prior to competition. Iron sights only.
• Eye and ear protection mandatory (rentals available at XCAL).

4. Range Command: Supervised by a qualified Range Master provided by X-Cal. One lane per competitor with all equipment placed on the counter in front of the shooter before the start (holsters not required). No warm-up rounds.

5. Targets: Separate targets will be used for each stage and will be provided.

6. Scoring: Accomplished by a certified Range Master. Max 100 points per target (300 points max total). Ties resolved by continuous courses of rapid fire at 20 yards on Dec 3rd at 5:00 PM.

7. Prize Levels: 1st Prize � $2,000.00; 2nd Prize � $750.00; 3rd Prize � $250.00.

8. Perfect Score Bonus: An additional prize of $25.00 will be awarded to anyone who achieves a perfect 300 score.
